Privacy policy

DriveSync Pro ("the app") is a desktop program for Windows that copies files between your Google Drive and your computer. This policy explains what the app accesses and what happens to it.
The short version
- The app runs entirely on your computer.
- Your files and your Google account information go only between your computer and Google. They are never sent to the app's developer or to anyone else.
- We don't collect analytics, usage data or personal information, and we don't sell or share anything.
What the app accesses
When you click Connect Google Drive, you sign in with Google and grant the app access to your Google Drive (the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive permission). The app uses this access only to do what you ask:
- list your Drive folders so you can choose one,
- download the folder you choose to the location you choose on your computer,
- upload the folder you choose from your computer to Google Drive,
- show how much Drive storage you have used.
The app does not read, change or delete anything in your Drive unless it is part of a transfer you start.
What is stored, and where
- Your Google sign-in token is saved on your computer in
%APPDATA%\DriveSyncPro\rclone.conf, so you don't have to sign in every time. - Your settings (the folders you picked, speed options) are saved in
%APPDATA%\DriveSyncPro\settings.json. - A transfer log listing file names and any errors is saved in
%APPDATA%\DriveSyncPro\logs, so you can see what was copied.
None of this leaves your computer. The developer has no server and cannot see it.
Google API Services User Data Policy
DriveSync Pro's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data from your Google account is used only to provide the file transfers you request in the app. It is not used for advertising, not transferred to others, and not used to train AI or machine-learning models.
Removing your data
- Disconnect the app from Google: visit myaccount.google.com/permissions and remove DriveSync Pro.
- Delete everything stored on your PC: uninstall the app from Windows Settings → Apps and choose to remove your settings and sign-in, or delete the folder
%APPDATA%\DriveSyncPro.
Files the app downloaded or uploaded stay where they are; they are your files.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
